Our Busy Rushing Ends in Nothing

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. Psalm 39:6 NLT

It’s Monday morning! As you look at your to-do list for the week, are you feeling a little overwhelmed?

Do you sense you’ll be seen as a mere shadow while you quickly speed from one appointment or event to another all week? Are you wondering how you will manage your crazy calendar?

Maybe it’s time to take your appointment book and reprioritize what is truly important. Take note of what is on your schedule that will ultimately end in nothing. Can you let it go?

Sometimes letting go of things that are good makes time for what is the best; God, husband, children, family, friends and those in need.

As you struggle to meet your deadlines in the week ahead, pray for God's priorities. “Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered – how fleeting my life is.” (Psalm 39:4 NLT)
